On Saturday we had a great breakfast, took our time getting ready and headed out to hike up Mill Creek Canyon. The beginning of the trail just past the dam has a rocky ledge that goes right by the edge of the creek. Courtney and Grace were holding Matt's hands and one of them slipped, pulling all three into the creek. It wasn't very high at all, but both girls got pretty wet. Matt took them home to get new clothes and recover from their dunking in the cold fall creek.
The rest of us pressed on and had a great hike. We stopped at a bend in the creek and threw rocks in for a long time. After we hiked down, Matt and Lance went to play golf while Jen and I headed home to feed the kids. Later, Jen took the older kids over to hit some balls at the driving range with the dads. Everyone had a great time. We all enjoyed some pizza for dinner, ice cream sundaes for dessert and a fun movie night with popcorn.

Only 12 days apart and so similar in personality...strong, independent and ready to rule the roost!
