Easter Egg Hunt and Party

Preparing to hunt eggs at the Dolores Easter Egg Hunt
It was a great hunt!  The best municipal hunt we've ever attended. There were plenty of eggs for all the kids, the eggs were all taped shut, parents didn't gather eggs for their kids and the eggs were very full of lots of good candy (Reese's, Hershey etc)!

The ladies get ready for the egg hunt.

Caroline proudly displays her eggs.  She "had" to have the pumpkin bucket.  We love items that we can use for multiple holidays.

Courtney and her eggs. She loves her Hello Kitty hat.  She opted out of carrying a basket in favor of the plastic bag.  Notice Grace in the back ground. She is pretty sad. She didn't get as many eggs because "Grace time" isn't conducive to Easter egg hunts.

Grace is still mad about not getting more eggs. Everyone shared with her, but during the hunt she was trying to open the ones she had to check out the candy before getting more. Notice the dual holiday nature of her Christmas/Easter shirt:)

After the egg hunt, we had some friends over for a party and lunch. We played pin the tail on the bunny, dyed eggs, played a few more games and had a great afternoon!

Grace is very happy to be dying Easter eggs.

Yet another day of wearing the cheerleader outfit. At least it's not pajamas. She told me the other day, "I don't want to get my clothes on because I will have to take them off and put pajamas back on when it is bedtime."  Good reasoning...she wore pajamas all day.

Courtney dying an egg pink? not pink?  The girl still loves pink!

Alex shows off the family eggs.
