Sisters and Arches

Courtney and Gracie figured out how to give each other rides on the trike the other day. It is so cute and heartwarming to watch my two big girls play together. They truly enjoy each other. Their favorite game lately is "getting married."  Courtney is Ariel or Mariel as they call her and Grace is Eric. They get married and then they dance. The dancing is much longer than the "marriage part".  I think it's a combo of Little Mermaid and Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty...  So much fun to have a sister, especially one who is one day older/younger than you!
Courtney was taking Caroline for a ride in the shopping cart.  Both girls love to play with Caroline as well.  Sometimes she "messes up" their games, but for the most part she is a very willing playmate.  She's lucky to have two big sisters and two big brothers.

Looking from Panorama Point toward Devil's Garden Area.

We took our first trip to Arches National Park on Saturday.  The entrance is only 5 miles from Moab.  It's an amazing place. We look forward to many more trips.  I thought if we scouted it out and posted pictures we might encourage more visitors:)  We now have a year pass as well...come join us.

Delicate Arch from the Upper Viewpoint.  The hike to the actual arch is about 3 miles round trip (from a different starting spot).  I think we'll try it out soon.  The weather has been great for hiking.

One of the Window Arches.  Our trip was mainly a drive through to find out what we want to visit next time.  There are so many fun hikes that we found and great places to go with the kids.  We can spend the entire winter in Arches, but the kids are begging to go back to Goblin Valley...
