Today Matt and Joseph went to the BYU-UNLV football game. The rest of us stayed home and enjoyed a fun day of our own. We went to the library to watch the "Snail People" perform. They are a kids' music duo. The kids loved their music, especially since they sang a lot of songs that the kids knew. After a nap for Caroline, we headed to the Petting Zoo at Hole n' the Rock and then to the nearby rest area to play. It may sound weird that we played at a rest area, but this is no ordinary rest area. They have grass nicer than most golf courses, lots of trees to play on and rocks to climb. Plus, it's not very crowded at all and as you can see the trees were beautiful there today.
I got a little carried away taking pictures. I'll have to make a post for each of the kids so you can see all the great shots. Gracie and Caroline weren't as cooperative as Alex and Courtney, but I got cute shots of everyone but Joseph since he was with Matt.
Courtney was having a ball. Most of the time she is carrying a stuffed toy or doll.
Caroline was much more interested in the leaves on the tree than me taking her picture.
Grace started strong, but tired quickly.
Alex posed like this and asked me to take his picture. I got some great shots of him in the tree as well. He's not afraid of the camera.
Caroline was the last person to get in the car. I caught this picture on our way out. The light was beautiful. Notice the amazing grass, the trees and the red rock in the background.
