A spy, a pirate, ballerina, Superman and cheerleader
We got plenty of candy. We went to a Trunk or treat put on by our church.
Our "happy pumpkin with square teeth" and our "mean pumpkin with pointy teeth" Due to wind and rain, they spent the night inside on the bar.
All the girls say "Cheese" for the camera after Trunk or Treat.
Carving our pumpkins. Check out the look on Gracie's face--she had just stuck her hand in the pumpkin to get out the seeds.
Alex and Joseph has a party at school and we joined them. They had a costume parade and the girls joined Alex. He did a great job as their escort.
A very cute Superman (not Supergirl or Superwoman, Grace got very upset if anyone suggested that she was anything but Superman)
Our ballerina and cheerleader. They didn't want to pose for any individual shots either day.
Spies like us. Alex was very specific about what he wanted to be this year. An eagle was his first choice, but the only costumes I could find cost over $100. So he moved on to a spy. He loves his hat. Soon after he got it, he wore it to his soccer game with the jacket. He'd wear it until it was his turn to go in and then put it back on while he waited on the side...
Captain Jack Sparrow. Joseph was a mummy for school and when I got out my witch costume for the school party, I found this costume that I found on 90% clearance a few years ago. Perfect fit for this year! The mummy costume was cute (lots of ace bandages), but it kept falling off so he was happy to have an alternative.

Then we had the school party on Friday afternoon and enjoyed Scooby-Doo Camp Scare Friday night for Pizza and Movie Night. On Saturday we carved pumpkins and had our Trunk or Treat at 5:30. After the massive candy collection, we hit McDonalds for take out and Redbox for more fun movies. Tinkerbell's Great Fairy Rescue thrilled the girls and entertained the boys and the new Karate Kid was a big hit with Joseph (he wanted to know how I knew who was going to win the last match:)), but Alex didn't make it past the first 10 minutes.
A great Halloween over all and not even too stressful!

Sounds like so much fun! Cute costumes for cute kids!
