The girls enjoy most/all of the books on the bottom shelves.
Joseph reads to Alex and Alex, Caroline and Courtney. Grace tried to sit on Caroline's lap, but moved before I got the pictures.I love to read. Joseph is not a huge fan. He reads for his required 25 minutes and watches the clock most of the time. I'm trying to help him love reading. We've always read to him, but he'd much rather do something or observe it to figure it out than learn by reading. Hopefully this will change. He will read to his sisters if I ask (and he can record the time as part of his 25 minutes) and very rarely his brother. Alex is reading now and will gladly share his book with his sisters. The girls LOVE to read. If Matt or I sit down, they automatically bring us a book, especially Caroline. Hopefully everyone will come out a reader in the end and maybe even put their book away when they are done.
Old Navy had Halloween shirts 1/2 price the weekend before Halloween. Three shirts for $7.50! Too bad there weren't any bigger ones left for the boys. The girls wore the shirts almost every day. I'd wash them and they'd grab them off the drying rack and put them back on. Definitely got my money's worth! The weekend before Halloween I was able to go with Matt to a conference in Midway, UT. My mom and dad watched the kids for us so we had a mini-getaway for two days! During some of his meetings, I drove to Park City and hit the outlet stores and Wal-Mart for a little shopping.

The boys got haircuts/trims on Halloween (Saturday). Alex was dressed all in orange in honor of pumpkins. He loves his new hair because he can make it very spiky.
Alex's hair is very spiky! I hope all the kids turn out as readers as well. I love those shirts. They are so cute!
