March Means March Madness!!

I finally hung up our Family Home Evening board that now has everyone's name on it.

Courtney is our little fire-lover. Every time we make a fire, she has to "help" by crumpling up paper and handing it to us. She stands by to watch until we get it burning. She and Gracie don't touch the stove at all. Once Alex accidentally touched it and it burned him a little bit and they saw it and his reaction. I'm sorry Alex got hurt, but it's been a great help in keeping them away.

All sporting birthday gifts of once sort or another...

Normally, we'd be preparing for Matt's favorite time of the year--watching the Tarheels in the post-season tournaments. This year, it's doubtful if they'll even get an invite to watch the "The Dance" let alone, participate. We're hopeful for next year and have high hopes that Roy will get them back on track.

But with two budding princesses turning 2 in March, we will still have our share of madness this month:) We began the celebration yesterday in Utah with the family March birthday party. Courtney and Gracie shared their cake with Uncle Phill. Next year, they'll have little Maeli (Ryan and Micaela's baby who is due any day) to share the party with as well. Grandma and Grandpa gave them each a Princess Tiana shirt and Princess dress up shoes. Both have been on them since they received them yesterday afternoon although I didn't let them wear the shoes to bed. Becca made them capes and Gracie has been running around the house saying "Super Gracie gonna get you!"
