Birthday Party

Saturday the birthday fun continued. It was quite the birthday fest. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the day!

When Daddy gave the girls the Princess trunk full of dress ups, Courtney's mouth was wide open. She LOVES dress up, especially her new "earrings". She calls them "ears, ears." She's a combo of all Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.

Check out the earrings!
Every kids needs Mickey Mouse pancakes for her birthday!
Gracie isn't looking too thrilled, but she did enjoy them.
McDonalds from Friday night.
The girls were very pleased with their cake. They didn't mind sharing at all and they have plenty of Princess to play with afterward.
Getting ready to blow out their candles. Notice their shirts...I think they've worn them 6/7 days this week.
Close up of the cake. The frosting was a little soft, but we did our best. Kirill had the idea to cake the cut out pieces and make the circle for Princess Tiana to stand on.
Getting ready to dig into their cake. They had to have the "Mincesses" as they call them on their plate and tried to set both of them on their little pieces of cake. Both enjoyed the ice cream much more than the cake.
Caroline and Matt celebrating at McDonalds on Friday
Too bad their eyes and smiles aren't just a little more identical:)
Alex ready for church. Alex has been asking for a bow tie for over 2 years. When the girls pulled out Snow White's headband from their new princess trunk, Alex exclaimed, "A bowtie!" We made it work and it looks great. Still looking for a real bowtie.

  2. I must have missed this post earlier. It looks like a fun birthday with everything two little girls could ever want-princesses and sugar.
