11 months old!

10 months old. Mom missed posting last month.

10 1/2 months old and showing off the 8 teeth that she now has. She went from 2 to 8 in 2 very rough weeks.

I'm very proud that I can stand by myself.

On Saturday, March 27, Caroline was 11 months old. Caroline is now 18lbs 8.5 oz. and about 28 1/2 inches. She is standing alone and has taken one step on two separate occasions. She has a temper and gets very upset if you take away her toy or food. Case in point...yesterday Courtney found left over "colorful marshmellows" as the kids call them, in Alex's school backpack. She helped herself and left the ziplock baggie open on the floor. Caroline found them and was helping herself to them when I discovered what she was doing behind the counter. She got VERY mad when I took away her marshmellows. She LOVES her siblings and gives them her best smiles and giggles.

Caroline likes to play in the toy room. Her favorite is emptying all of the bins that we use to sort the toys. It is a disaster most days. Kirill had a two friends over the other day(two neighborhood girls who are also in his class). I apologized to the "new' friend who hadn't been over before for our cluttered house. The "old" friend piped up, "Oh, It's always messy here!" I just let it go...explaining to two 7/8 year old girls with no younger siblings that babies make a lot of mess didn't seem to matter. Those of you who know me, know that it bothers me to have a "messy house," but the kids need to live and I have to do something besides pick up the toy room 24/7. That's why the toy room has doors!

I just remind myself that one day that all the toys stay in their places because there is no one to play with them and that day will be sad!
