November is National Adoption Month

What a perfect month to celebrate adoption! The same month as Thanskgiving. Gratitude and adoption go hand in hand. You can celebrate every day with an adoption related activity . We celebrate adoption every day of the year at our house, but hope that we can help promote this activity in our community and help others understand adoption better. Another special aspect of November being National Adoption Month is that two of our kids birthmoms have November birthdays--Happy Birthday this month Tammy and Deanna.

Do you have any adoption story to share? This month, I'm going to be sharing our adoption stories throughout the month and I'd love to add others or link over to other adoption blogs. Yesterday, I visited my parents ward in Utah. In the nursery, there were 5 adopted children(including my 2) and in the primary there were 5 more (including my 2 as well). We love all families and don't discriminate against those who don't have adopted kids, but we certainly have a close bond with those who share this special experience of family building through adoption.
Halloween pictures to come, but first things first!

Here are 5 reasons our family loves adoption!
