My daughters have beautiful hair. After two boys, I'm excited to have the chance to do the girls' hair. I'm not the best braider yet, but I'm working on it. Today we have our most exotic hair styles to date. The girls actually sat still so I could do this. Suggestions are always welcome!

After (4 french braids from front to back)

Gracie likes it (the fruit snack reward does the trick)

Courtney got 10 tiny piggy tails all over her head. I'm not good enough to braid her hair as short as it is. I'm sure an experienced braider could do it. I can't wait to take her to get her first braids and beads. She'll be shaking her head all over (she has great rhythm and LOVES to dance).

Courtney is pleased as well. She got to throw the new elastics all over the floor while I braided Gracie's hair.
Wow you are amazing. I cant believe the girls sat still that long. I am loving the before picture of Gracie. It looks more like a mug shot!!
ReplyDeleteMs. Grace needs thise braids... I bet it helps keep the knots out as well. The girls are so darn cute! I bet you will get faster over time. You'll have lots of practice.
ReplyDeleteI bet you can find another Mommy who has experience with braiding to teach you some tricks.
I would not know where to start since all I have are 4 boys. I think you did great and no one ended in tears. So sucess!
I noticed the snow... I would love some snow.

Very cute Liis! I'm glad the girls were good for you because there are many years ahead of braids and beads for you. Stock up on the fruit snacks and keep us updated!
ReplyDeleteLiisa, these are so fun! You did a great job!
