Fall is in the air when...

Soccer Season is over for the year. Kirill's team was "undefeatable" to quote another teammate. Kirill has a great first season of soccer with a terrific coach and teammates. He's looking forward to spring soccer. Maybe by then, he'll know what offense means:) Matt told him he was on offense and Kirill asked, "What's that?"

The kids do more inside projects than out. It's been really cold here with wind. It's about 40 right now at 2pm. Gracie and Courtney made birthday cards for Alex's teacher. They love to draw.
Alex loves to write. He has really started writing a lot since school started. He's putting down first letters of words and a few others.

Courtney writes a lot. We definitely think she is left handed. She eats left handed all the time and only writes left handed. Maybe she gets it from both grandmas, Phyllis and Lynne, or maybe it's from Dominique's family? I'll have to ask.

Alex wears his new Halloween costume 24/7. What a bargain--all this for $3 at the thrift store.

Courtney and Gracie help rake our many leaves. Last Saturday the boys helped Matt and me for about 3 hours raking and bagging leaves.

You can still find yard sale treasures! Purses at 50 cents each. Courtney insists on taking hers(Gracie is wearing it in this picture) with her everywhere. It's so cute.

Soccer medals are awarded.

Courtney and Gracie can play outside for a short period of time and really, really enjoy it!

You have your woodpile stocked up for the winter.

  1. Wow! What a woodpile. I hope you get it covered before more snow comes. I guess they will soon have to put on their snow clothes to play outside. I hope the thrift store has some good steals on snow clothes.
