Caroline, in purple, at her first soccer clinic
Challenger Sports held a one hour clinic promoting their week-long camp in August. All five of the kids attended. Caroline was especially pleased to attend because she turned 3 in April and is now eligible to play soccer and attend the camp. She ran her little heart out kicking the ball and following the directions very well. At the end of the camp, she walked over to one of the coaches (two guys from Scotland and England) and said, "Can I have my snack now, Coach?" Coach Paul was very confused and didn't understand what she was talking about. It took me a minute, but she has seen the drill now for 3 years. You play soccer and you get a neat snack and a juice box. Poor Caroline received no snack in her soccer debut! Hopefully she will still be willing to play in the fall.
Alex and Caroline listen to the coaches, front row. Grace is behind them in the blue and Courtney is in the red. All of the enjoyed the camp.

We were able to host Coach Paul, standing between Caroline and Courtney, and Coach Dan, next to Grace for the evening after the camp. Paul is from Glasgow, Scotland and Dan is from Worcester, England (of Worcestershire Sauce fame). We loved having them in our home and hopefully they weren't too disturbed by our chaos. We loved hosting Coach Lee for a week last summer when he came to do the week long camp in Moab. The Challenger coaches are always perfect guest and the kids enjoy learning about different places.
