We met my sister Rachelle, her husband Dave and their son Jackson to check out the Grand Opening of Cabela's in Grand Junction last week. It's just under a 2 hour drive for us and a little over a 2 hour drive for them. Dave and Rachelle are card carrying members so we were able to attend during the sneak preview days with them. The kids loved all the animals, and we were able to "enjoy" dinner with them at Famous Dave's Barbeque. Kirill attended school since he only has one week left, and we also did some of his birthday shopping while we were there.

Jackson enjoyed his trip. He calmly takes in everything while my children do just the opposite.

Looks very fun! Maybe if they open a Cabela's in Georgia I can get them to come and go with us:)
