A few weeks ago Matt volunteered to help with a kickball tournament fundraiser for an adaptive sports foundation that does awesome work. It was held at a park near his work. We decided to join him for park of the day. The kids loved the playground. Pretty spectacular backdrop for a playground!

This captures Courtney's love of life and crazy personality. They both climb up the toys and slide down by themselves.

Did you know that they still put merry-go-rounds in at parks? I thought all the lawsuits had removed them. My kids didn't even know the name of the merry-go-round, and I had to call my sister to make sure I had it right. They LOVED this and can't wait to go back and have Matt push them faster than I could while holding a baby. Check out the mountain in the back!

Every girl loves a nice zebra ride! Notice that the hair bows are still in. This is Courtney's favorite dress. She always twirls when she wears it.

Gracie chose the horse, and she also still has hairbows in.

A pretty cool double seater teeter-totter, but very safe and hard for the kids to work themselves. If one kid gets off, it doesn't rocket the other kid to the ground (don't we older folks all remember how this feels).
Looks like a pretty sweet park. I do remember the danger of older see-saws. I'm glad this one is safe.
