Gracie and Courtney hit the 17 month mark this week! They are so big now. They are both bursting with speech. It's so much fun to hear them talk. Just last night Courtney said her name for the first time. We went through the usual routine of "Where's mom, dad, Alex, etc" and usually when we get to "Where's Courtney?" she just points to herself. Last night she said, "Co-C0" and pointed to herself. It was so, so cute! I bought the girls some bubbles yesterday at Wal-Mart (another story, another post b/c our closest Wal-Mart is an hour drive). This morning I was blowing the for the girls and I put them away. Gracie saw them later and said, "Bub-bahs." It's amazing how the human mind works and how children develop. Language development has always amazed me and I love watching it over and over!
Words the girls say now include: mom, dad, Kirill, Alex, baby, ball, crackers, more, eat, bubba (pacifier), shoes, nose, ears, eyes, doggie, kitty, fishy, Gracie, Courtney, sissy, sit down, all done and many more.

Yeah! Now we need to work on "He-Dor"! It is really amazing and fun that they can talk to each other and are learning at the same time.
