I just read this in the local paper. I've never heard anything like it. I'm omitting local names and places from the article. I feel like one of the Russian authors that left out names of cities and people and just put in a dash. Just wanted to add a little local flavor to the blog!
"Monday night was a bad night for a [local] owl. According to reports from --Fire & Rescue, the unfortunate creature got caught in the power lines above milepost --- on state Highway --, ... The bird was shocked and burst into flames, igniting a small 10-square-foot brush fire...The fire was out by the time --Fire & Rescue arrived on scene. "
