Looking back at other birthday blog posts through the years, I noticed that some of these pictures have been used before, but I like having them all together here.  Alex is going to Get Air, a trampoline place, for his birthday with some friends.  He is very excited.  I will have to do another post with birthday fun 2014 and his camo hunter cake.  

Alex is a wonderful son.  He loves deeply and is very loyal.  He loves to watch movies and swing on Grandpa's tree swing.  He enjoys riding his Green Machine that he got for his birthday (a month ago), his scooter, his rollerblades and his bike.  He LOVES outdoors and animals.  He wants to be a wildlife agent or work at a zoo or be a scientist to study endangered animals...something to do with animals outside.  He knows most birds by sight and can point out deer anywhere very quickly. He loves the stars, sky and moon.  He shows me constellations all the time at night.

Alex is doing great in school.  He reads well, but doesn't really enjoy it. He does well in math and is improving on his math facts...he really doesn't enjoy them!  He likes soccer and four square at recess.  He learned to play Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star on the piano and would like to start lessons soon.  He is playing on an indoor soccer team and just finished his basketball season.

Alex is loved by all of his friends, young and old. He has a special talent for making friends with older people and develops great friendships with his older buddies.  He is very well behaved at church and school and never causes any problems with discipline at these places.  

Favorite foods include bread, cereal, yogurt (any flavor, just no fruit chunks in it) with granola, toast, red grapes, cheese, pears, peaches, watermelon, Air Heads candy, Starbursts, Jelly Bellies, Skittles, orange juice, Sprite and Otter Pops.  Favorite TV shows/movies are Call of the Wild Man (Turtle Man), Shark Week, Phineas and Ferb, Walking with Dinosaurs Documentary, Planet Earth Documentary and Call of the Wild series.

What a blessing it is to have Alex in our family!  Nine years ago a wonderful friendship was born with Alex's birth and his birth family.  We are so blessed to have them in our lives and to be able to talk with them often.  We love you Tammy, Jake, Kaila, Yvonne and George!
