For the past week, the ladies have been attending PeeWee Cheerleading. Tonight was the big performance at the boys' varsity basketball game. They were all very excited. Courtney has been the most diligent worker at camp, paying close attention to everything and really learning her dance. They were all very excited for tonight. Unfortunately, Courtney got scared to death as the walked to the middle of the gym and she froze, stood still and finally at the end of the performance ran off the floor crying to Matt. She was sobbing, "I don't ever want to be a cheerleader again!" We've since clarified that she would like to go to camp again and learn the "stuff" and do the "test dances" but "never to the real cheerleading again." Caroline was a ham of the biggest order and Grace, despite barely paying attention all week and running all over the place while they tried to teach the dance, did a fantastic job. She absorbs a lot when I don't think she is paying attention at all. So the Bears won the game by 30 tonight! Thanks to all their little cheering girls!

The girls were thrilled to have Matt come watch them.
They all sat together with the other "cheerleaders" and helped the real cheerleaders during the first half.
Caroline wore her shirt over the Halloween cheerleading costume. She was very excited and even let me do her hair.
Courtney wanted a skirt too. Our only matching skirt was the plaid. She didn't mind and looked adorable. We did her beads last weekend knowing she was going to be cheering tonight.
No skirt for Grace. She didn't want ponytails either, but we prevailed on that one. She did it all for the treat from the concessions after her performance!
This picture is a little dark, but it is the girls right before the performance started. I videoed the performance. Notice Courtney on the left, Caroline in the middle and Grace on the right. The t-shirts were a little big!
