Visiting the Krispy Kreme store and watching them make the doughnuts is a must when arriving in North Carolina. The doughnuts were HOT and the kids and mom enjoyed them.

After doughnuts, we visited with our dear friends, The Hendersons. Joseph and Jane have been friends since they were 18 months old. Kim, her mom, and I have been friends just as long. It was so good to see them before they set off to visit family in Utah the next day. Glad our trip overlapped by at least one day! It was so much fun to see Jane and Kate and meet baby Easton . Kim and I had a lot to discuss. She is expecting twin girls in October and Easton turns 1 in November. We talked about how blessed we are to have five kids, although our jumps from two kids to five happened in short time periods (13 months for us and 11 months for her!). I am so excited for her! She fed us delicious lunch including her yummy homemade salsa and turkey avocado sandwiches. When I strike it rich, I am hiring Kim to come cook for me!
Jane Henderson-such a sweet girl.
She and Joseph are both climbers and had fun playing together. They are only a month apart in age.
Kim and Easton. Isn't he a doll? Lots of sisters to love this boy!
Caroline, Grace, and Courtney invade Kate's bed. They loved all of her toys.
