Facepainting was a big hit! And they did the entire face.
On Saturday we attended the KidsFest, sponsored by the local Montessori pre-school, The Children's Kiva. It was a great event and will be on the list for next year. It was all free, except for the train ride. They had face painting, pinch pot making, rock painting, seed planting, pinwheel making and decorating, relay races, water pouring station, music and dancing. A great time was had by all the kids. Matt took Joseph to Telluride to play three soccer games so he missed the event. Probably for the best because he is getting so old:) Alex didn't want to stand in line for the face painting so he is noticeable absent in the pictures.
A rainbow kitty-leopard.
A flower child.
A glittery butterfly.
We all want to pour water.
Playing with colored water was a huge hit.
They were giving away beads. We got more than our fair share.
Watermelon relay race--no hands allowed.
Learning to do hip-hop dancing.
What a great activity - and you can't beat FREE! Love the pictures - such cute kids! :)
