Many adoring fans:) have requested pictures of the new house. I was waiting for a clean house to take some pictures. But then I realized, I'm not taking pictures to sell this place(been there, happy I'm not doing it:), I'm taking them to show my dear friends and family who all have seen my house messy and may even have a messy house themselves. So enjoy seeing the house we live in! Some pictures are a little dark. Sorry, it's the price I pay for big windows and lots of light.
Living room area. Notice that the tile goes all the way around the outside of the area so the high traffic areas are all tile, not carpet!
Girls room. Sorry I can't get a better shot. They have a huge window, a huge closet, a queen bed, a crib, a dresser, a bookshelf and still room for lots of playing. Notice the flower ceiling fan.
Looking into the kitchen dining area. I LOVE my kitchen and have tons of space to store things.
The basement play room! Looks just like this most of the time and I don't care because it's in the basement!

Basement storage room! This is one side of the shelves. The entire room is full of shelves just like this!
Laundry room. Notice the folding area, the hanging rod and the big sink for soaking items. Door on the left at the back is a little potty room (nice to have three toilets now that all the kids but Caroline are potty-trained!).
Our old washer suffered a near death experience a few weeks ago. We decided it was time for a new washer and dryer. This is the girls watching our new washer. They sat there for about 10 minutes watching it go through its first cycle. Front load washer= great entertainment for kids. For those of you who have followed my dryer repairs over the past few years, I must report that the much-loved dryer that I know how to repair, has found a new home. It was bought second-hand 12 years ago for $100. It served us well and still worked, but we treated ourselves to the matching dryer with our new washer.
Boys' room. Not quite as large as the girls, but plenty of storage and a booknook too!
We love the neighborhood, our giant driveway and the view out the back.
Another shot of the kitchen. Look at all the storage. The cupboards are amazing with pull out roller shelves.

Love your house! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a great house. Why would anyone ever move from there:)? I'm glad you found it and hope that you continue to enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteAwesome house! Did you buy or are you just renting? Do you get a chancew to escape to you bath often or did the kids enjoy it more than you? At my house my giant bath is a special treat for kids that are sick... when you feel bad, you get to relax in my bath.
ReplyDeleteI tried to call you back last week, but I have you old # in my book still. Sorry!
