Am I a real blogger or what?

I always enjoy blogs that are kept current and have everyday things on them. Today I'm going to try to be like those blogs I like to read and not just post my special events. Maybe I'll live up to the name of my blog--Life's Magic Moments!

Hallmark Magic Moments--Each year for Christmas Alex's birthmom Tammy gives him/us the latest Hallmark singing/dancing toy. Although they can drive the grownups a little crazy, the kids LOVE them, especially the girls. Alex will set them all up in a circle and push the button to turn them on over and over to entertain his sisters (and himself). I keep setting them aside to put them away and the kids keep pulling them back out. Courtney and Gracie were dancing to the Christmas tree one just last night. Can you ever get enough of Hallmark's singing and dancing? My kids can't--thanks Tammy for the entertainment!

Preview of 2009 Christmas dresses-- I found great deal at Sam's Club yesterday on Christmas dresses for next year. A nice follow up to yesterday's post:) I haven't decided who will wear which dress, but Kirill said that Courtney will wear purple and Gracie will wear red. I just hope they fit in a year. 2T should be big enough, but at $5 a dress, it won't be too great a loss if we have to wear them earlier and won't they look adorable. I thought about buying one more for the baby, but that would have been far too extravagant when I have the girls' dresses from this year to pass down...and there weren't 3 in the same color in the right sizes. Decisions, decisions--all that had to be made quickly at the end of our Sam's Club trip while the two babies were in the cart trying to pull each other's hair and the boys were doing the famous "hide in the middle of the clothing rack" act that must be genetically programmed into each child. The boys almost didn't get their bribe of ice cream at the end of the trip because they wouldn't come out of the clothes. Why did my mom ever take all 6 kids shopping with her?

  1. How sweet of Tammy to do that!
Love the girls' dresses and yes...go back and get one more for the new baby! She'll have plenty of hand me downs...it will be super cute of they are all wearing the same dress.
