Happy 12th Birthday Joseph!

I can't believe that my oldest and first baby is 12 years old! He started our adventure as parents and it still continues. He amazed me as our first child and continues to amaze me with his bursts of understanding and maturity that make all the other times at little more bearable. He loves to climb trees, mountains, houses, rocks, anything that will get him higher. He's been doing it since he was 3, scaring other moms to death on the playground. He loves his kendama, Ipod and tablet (and was so glad to get the latter two back on his birthday after a 2 month hiatus). He loves soccer, Adidas, steak, gum, sleeping late, going to bed late, riding his bike, swinging, watching movies, reading graphic novels, hanging out with friends, shooting his bow and arrow, basketball and wrestling (in season) and flying in airplanes. He likes to explore mountains and woods, wants to set a trap to catch a real animal and loves water. He will attend his first Scout Camp this summer, had his first dances at school this year and has earned his Tenderfoot, First and Second Class ranks in Scouts and well as his First Aid Merit Badge. His final report card tomorrow will have all A's and A-'s! What a great kid!

So here's to you Joseph, 12 years of birthdays...minus a few that I haven't gotten scanned in yet since you are SO old and have birthday before all my pictures are digital.
