Happy 100th Birthday Grandpa Ted

100 years ago today my Grandpa Ted was born.  He passed away in 1990, my senior year of high school.  We took kids to visit his grave today to honor him, and I told them a bunch of stories about him.
Grandpa Ted was a highway patrolman for 35 years, a bishop for our church for 15 years and a father to four boys.  He had 16 grandchildren and now has 30 ( I think) great-grandchildren.  Grandpa Faye died in 1983, and he was lonely with out her for the last 7 years of his life.
The Croydon Cemetery is very sparse.  Also buried here are John London and Hannah Elizabeth Smith London, our first to ancestors on the London side to immigrate to Utah.  John came a year before Hannah and they married and lived in the Croydon area their entire life.  Their son, Alfred John, and his wife, Caroline Cook Chapman London, were the parents of Grandpa Ted.
John Toone and Jemima Cook are also buried here.  John and Jemima were both in the Martin Handcart Company.  They are grandparents of Caroline Cook Chapman.  What a blessing to have such great ancestors and stories of their courage.
The sky was really pretty against the mountains on the way home.  The picture didn't turn out too great, but it is kind of cool in an abstract way!
