Moments like this make me love being a mom!
We picked all of the apples from our apple tree and made apple crisp. It was super yummy but the most fun part for the kids was using the apple peeler/corer that we borrowed from our friends, the Gaddis family. They all wanted to have a turn and eventually worked out a system, all by themselves, so everyone had a part in the process. They happily worked together and peeled and cored more than enough apples for our apple crisp. It was 10 minutes of bliss as they worked together. Caroline handed the apple to Joseph, he put it on the corer, Alex turned the handle to peel, Grace picked up the peels and put them in the trash pile and Courtney pulled the core off the corer. I just want to document this amazing moment so I can look back on it (Matt was a witness as well)!

Caroline and Grace supporting each other with strep!
We had an exciting week a few weeks ago. Caroline was diagnosed with strep throat for the 2nd time this month. Joseph came down with it a few days later and then Grace got it. Everyone is back to normal now and I don't have to remember to give three people antibiotics each day. Good thing they reminded me to do it.
