I took the 5 kids camping Monday night with my two mom friends and their kids. I should really say I went with them because they are they are the organized, prepared and experienced campers. Only 9 kids total with mine! Pictures will follow but I just had record Grace's amusing comments. We were camped next to a beautiful river and our tent was probably 5 feet from the river. This was the girls' first ever camping experience.
Tuesday morning Grace wakes up and says, "That river was so noisy all night. I couldn't sleep. It didn't ever turn off all night long!"
I still chuckle as I type this. Sorry Grace, next time I'll remember to shut the river off before we go to sleep.
