Hike to Keyhole Sink

What is one to do when she has seven children age 11 and under to do?  Take them on a hike to the Keyhole Sink, of course.  Headed off at the trail head through the pines.

The kids were enthralled with these circle weeds.

At the Keyhole Sink.
Joseph later told Matt, "I don't really think what we saw was worth the hike, but mom wanted to go."

Kensi poses.

Native American Petroglyphs from 1000s of years ago.

Joseph inspects the other set of petroglyphs.

Avy wanted to be like Joseph. "Up high on a rock!"

Higher, higher, higher they all wanted to climb.

Only Joseph went to the top.

Posing at the top.

The five girls ages 5,5,5,4,and 3 pose in front of the box canyon.  Caroline has on her hiking dress:)

Kensi and Avy take 2

Courtney and Kensi had a lot of fun together during the week.

Avy had too much fun and fell asleep on the way back from the sink. She stayed asleep when I put her back in the car, took her out at the store, put her in the bottom of a cart and slept the entire time we were shopping. She only woke up when we got back in the car to go home.

View of the sink.
