Each year the Dolores River Festival is held to celebrate the river that runs through our town. It has several booths and fun activities for the kids along with live music all day long. The kids love the aerial show. This year one of the vendors was offering long board trials on the lake so we all took advantage of this fun event. There was a great magician as well this year. A great event that is free for kids 12 and under!
Grace takes a turn as well.

Joseph was excited to try out his kayak, but he liked the long board better. I didn't get any pictures of him on it though. The lake is super low and it was so, so muddy on the bottom. I tried out the long board after watching all the kids and getting off was standing in mud up to my knees!
