A little later this year (Saturday night after Thanksgiving), but we held our annual tree trimming evening. We invited our friends, The Bischoffs, to join us. After dinner of pizza and bread sticks, with yummy slush made by the Bischoffs, we got down to our task of decorating the tree. Our tree has been with us since Texas Christmas 2007. It has now fulfilled it's 5 year life that I mandated when I spent more money on it than I wanted to! Once again we fought the pre-lit lights, and this year they won again. We conceded and draped extra strands on to cover those we couldn't get working:)
Matt fulfilled his very important duty of putting all of the ornament hangers on the ornaments. I think we currently have more hangers on the carpet than on the tree due to children removing and re-arranging ornaments during the past few weeks.
Posing with our gingerbread people.
Candy is much more important than frosting!
Grace loves M&Ms.
Joseph is getting much more artistic with his gingerbread people each year.
A happy boy to "graduate" to using the frosting bag all by himself!
(Notice the pile of frosting on his gingerbread man!)
