Town Tree Lighting

Posing the Rudolph who is pulling the Galloping Goose.

On Dec 8 we had a busy day. We went to breakfast with Santa sponsored by the Kiwanas Club.  Breakfast was good, but the line to visit with Santa was VERY long.  We peeked in on him through the window, and promised to see him later.  Our evening events did not disappoint with two visits with the jolly old chap!  Our first evening event as the town tree lighting.  No snow, but a chilly evening.

They had bonfires lit to keep everyone warm while we waited for the fire engine that brought Santa.

Caroline was very eager to see Santa. As he stepped out the the fire engine, she ran up and hugged him.  Santa turned on the town lights (pictures I took did not turn out!) and then headed to the old train depot to greet kids.

The crew with Santa.  Courtney was still not very happy to see Santa.  Santa passed out candy canes and giant Symphony bars to each kid!  We had a lot of chocoate at our house for a week or so.
