Do you ever just sit and wonder why you are so blessed? Do you think about how God has given you so much and wonder why you are so lucky to be the mother of five adorable children?
Do you look at your beautiful daughter and wonder how anyone can be so blessed to see this smile every day? It lights up a room.
Or look at the amazing curls in your daughter's hair and wonder how they can be such perfect ringlets every time she gets out of the shower?
Or do you see God's hand in your life when you realize that he brought all of these children together in one family...and it happens to be yours?
Do you let yourself be amazed by the talents and individual personalities of each of your children? Do you thank Heavenly Father that none of them are the same and your life is far from boring?
Do you see your first-born grow older and wonder where all the time has gone and if he will ever really need you again as much as he once did?
Do you look at your baby and know that you have survived the past few years with many moves and many young children only because of great family and friends?
I do.
I am so grateful to have my husband and family. November is Thanksgiving and National Adoption Month. Two of my favorite things. I am grateful to Svetlana, Tammy, Dominique and Deanna for my children. I am grateful to God for bringing us together and for allowing us to be friends and mothers together. I am grateful for my family and Matt's family. I look forward to seeing my parents in December between their missions. I look forward to meeting my new nephew, Ammon, and to greeting my sister Heather's baby due in May. I am truly blessed. Thank you for blessing my life!
some how I forgot how inspiring you are!! I love you Liisa Thank you for making me think this morning and for being a good example of a wonderful mother. Your children are more blessed to have you as their mother and I am proud to call you my friend!
