The boys ready to go to school with Grandpa. They thought is was pretty cool to have him take them on their second day of school.
My mom and dad came to visit us on the "tour de kids" before they set out on their mission. They visited me, then Mark, and then Rachelle. It was great to see them and as usual, they helped with some home repairs:)
Bike central! We had a lot of flat tires from the prickly weeds in our area. Grandpa and Grandma "slimed" all of the tires for all the bikes and everyone is now riding happily along. Grandpa also made a few adjustments to some of the bikes. We love his skills.
Adjusting a tire.
Mom's job was to hold the Slime tube between bikes and put in on the nozzle. As you can see, she really enjoyed this job:) The Slime goes inside the tubes oozes into holes caused by small poky thorns and such. It really works! No flat tires since the Slime was put in the tubes.
While we worked, the girls played. The Cozy Coupe lives or is it a double decker bus? This car has been in our family for over seven years and we got it used from some friends. The kids all love it. In fact, we bought a second one at a yard sale to prevent fighting over it.
Courtney is very proud that she is strong enough to pull Grace and Caroline in the car.
After Grandpa and Grandma left, everything was so boring, so the girls decided to play "puppies." Here they are eating "doggie food" out of their "doggie dishes" on the kitchen floor.
Aren't we cute puppies? Don't you love Gracie's pathetic look?
