An almost perfect kid shot--Courtney refused to look at the camera.
We returned to our favorite place in our part of the world over Memorial Day. Goblin Valley State Park! It was a beautiful, unseasonably cool day. We had a great time hiking and exploring a new part of the valley.
Matt setting off with the ladies.
Joseph climbed the highest rocks he could find every time.
Alex loves to pose on the rocks.
"Brothers picture" Joseph and Alex said.
The kids had fun hiking up to this cave in the rocks.
The walls are incredibly detailed. It looks like someone carved this rock. It's amazing what water and wind plus thousands of years can create.
Even Joseph couldn't get through this hole.

Caroline wanted her picture taken on the rock.
Caroline was tired from her day of hiking and found a willing brother to carry her. We tried the old "bye Caroline thing and walked off and hid around the corner" to convince her to walk and follow us. Caroline didn't mind. She decided the warm desert sand was a great place to take a nap and was going to sleep when Matt walked back to get her.
Grace was tired from hiking at the end of the day.

Your family is always growing and it is fun to watch. Now they have switched from growing in numbers to growing in stature! They are getting so big. We haven't forgotten about you. We usually make it to Moab once a year. We will look you up for sure next time we head that way. Glad to see all is well.
