WATERMELON!

Our Paw-Paw grows the best watermelon in the world! Unfortunately, he lives far from us in North Carolina. He really wanted the kids to have some good Vern watermelon, so he arranged for a family friend, Jill B, who was coming to Utah to go to school to transport two of his biggest watermelons and some of his honey. My mom met Jill and secured the goods for us. Then my cousin Lindy, who was on her way home from Utah to Washington state, met me in Twin Falls and passed them on to me. After over 2000 miles and lots of loving care, the kids got their watermelons and boy! did they enjoy them. Courtney loved having her own piece and ate two more.
