Alex started his pre-school at Kirill's elementary school on Wed, Sept 2, 2009. He goes in the afternoon from 11:30-2:30. He had 2 great days of school and then we headed to Grandpa and Grandma's for a visit. On Friday morning, Sept 4, Alex went outside with Grandpa, and Grandpa put him on a 12 inch bike with no training wheels and pushed him off. Alex took off and the rest is history. He can start and stop by himself and even rode his bike to school today as I followed along behind in the car (I was afraid he'd say he was too tired and I have a stroller, a baby in the Baby Bjorn and a bike to push as well). We're going back to pick him up in a little bit since it would cramp Kirill style to ride home with him. I have a little video of him riding his bike that we made to email to Grammy and Paw-Paw. Sorry about the quality. The other video is too big to post.
