Spring Travels

Antelope Island in the middle of the Great Salt Lake

The past few Saturdays we have been out and about exploring our great state.  Even though I was raised here, I had never been to either of these spots, Antelope Island or Park City Olympic Park.  Both were great day trips and we plan to go back to both.  Olympic Park has some awesome alpine slides, zip lines and rope courses that we plan to attach when we have a full day and can get our money's worth on a full day pass.  So much to see and do right here around us!  It is fun checking out these great places in Utah.

Jail for the Mecham crew!

While we were visiting Antelope Island we came upon a Festival of Cowboy Poetry and lots of fun activities.  If you filled your kid passport, you won a bandanna.  Everyone was excited.

Joseph, Caroline, Courtney and Grace at the top of the ski jump hill. Alex was a bit scared to walk out on the deck that is completely open to the bottom to keep ice from forming in the winter.

Makes you want to strap on some skis and go for it...NOT!
