Okay, so my mom is our hero. Here she is in the back seat of the van between the two girls. We had a great plan to have the boys ride with Matt and the girls with us, but it didn't work out too well because we only had one carseat that could face forward that the girls could ride in if we let Alex and Kirill both ride in the van (Alex and Kirill both need shoulder belts with their car seats). The girls got bored facing backwards. So one boy and one girl rode with Daddy the rest of the trip. It worked out well, but I love this picture. It's not so great because I took it while I was driving. I don't know how many times my poor mom had to climb to the back of the van to attend to one of the kids.

Daddy and two of his ladies. This is before the Mecham family picture, but after he loaded the moving truck and after he arrived on the red-eye flight. It was a long day for Daddy!

Go West Gracie and Courtney! Independence, Missouri LDS Visitors' Center.

Oldest 4 "pose" at a rest stop outside of Sidney, Nebraska. Great rest stop off of I-80!

Courtney models the latest fashion-pjs with duck slippers and fur-trimmed levi jacket. Both girls love to "dress up." They bring me all sorts of clothes that they want to wear, size doesn't matter. Courtney wore this outfit for quite a while and was mad when we took it off of her.
NO WAY!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad your Mom could come help....having that many little ones is rough at home, much less going cross country!
So does this mean you just came home?
