I stole the first two lines from Matt's sweet card that came with the flowers. I won't embarass him and put the full poem here, but it is very thoughtful and sweet. The kids, especially Courtney and Gracie, LOVE the balloons!
We had a great Valentine's Day decorating cookies with our cousins, playing at the park and jumping on the trampoline. Then Daddy took the kids to pick up the flowers (he drove 30 min each way just to get me Tarheel blue roses!) and I got to take a nap!!! The family then enjoyed Krispy Kreme Valentine doughnuts (kids had free doughnuts from Valentine cards) and fine dining at Chick-Fil-A (which BTW wasn't too crowded). It was a great day full of love!
Sounds like a good old fashioned Valentine's Day. We love the roses and are so proud of Matt's poetry skills. I hope the doughnuts were great and the cookies were like Grandma's.
